Tirlán CountryLife, the dairy processor's retail division, has reopened its store in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, after what it called a "major investment" in the store and its site.
Tirlán said that the redevelopment has delivered a larger retail space, an expanded garden centre, an enhanced product range, and a new car park.
The processor said these additions create "a more modern and accessible shopping experience for customers".
The Dungarvan store is located on the N25, and Tirlán said it is "an important hub for customers from across west Waterford and the surrounding area".
The store forms part of Tirlán's retail network, which includes 15 CountryLife and 52 FarmLife branches nationwide.
"Together, these branches play an important role in supporting farming families, rural communities and local customers across Tirlán's catchment area," the dairy business said.
The Dungarvan investment is the 10th major branch redevelopment completed by Tirlán in recent years, and is the latest in a broader investment programme across the retail network.
The processor said these investments "reflect the continued evolution of Tirlán's branch network".
At the reopening of the store, Tirlán chairperson Ger O'Brien commented: "This is an important investment for Dungarvan and the surrounding area. Our branches play a key role in supporting farming families, customers and local communities, and it's important that we continue to invest in them.
"Dungarvan is the latest example of how we are continuing to invest across our branch network. We will continue to invest in areas where we see opportunities to grow sales, strengthen the business and return value to our farmer members," O'Brien added.
Jamie O'Brien, Tirlán area manager, said the investment was a significant milestone for both the local Tirlán team and the local community.
"This investment reflects the importance of this branch to both our customers and our business. I'd like to thank our customers for their support and patience throughout the redevelopment works, as well as everyone who played a role in delivering the project," O'Brien added.
"Completing a redevelopment of this scale while keeping the branch operational required a huge team effort," he said.
