Lamb prices have now reached €7.00/kg - with factories once again increasing prices for lambs this week, as factories hunt down supplies.

During the week ending September 1, the number of hoggets slaughtered at Department of Agriculture approved sheep export plants was 126.
The sheep trade has steadied across our key export markets and this has had a positive impact on the trade for spring lamb.
