Farmers can be in with a chance to win the use of a Landini Serie 7 for a year.

The lucky winner will have the free use of a Landini Serie 7 from mid-January to mid-December 2027 or for 750 recorded operating hours, whichever comes first.

An early start for many as the crowds started to form for entry this morning. Yesterday's attendance hit 77,000 - how will today's compare?

Those travelling to the event are being urged to follow the directional signage to the venue and not to use satnav or similar devices close to the event site.

When you arrive on site take note of the number, colour, or animal sign as you enter/exit the car park.

If you have a smartphone, drop a pin when you park up, or take a picture of the sign to easily locate your car later.

Visitors to the National Ploughing Championships over the coming days are being advised to pack both raincoats and suncream.

Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather has said the two remaining days of the 95th championships will bring mixed conditions.
