The current spell of hot weather is to continue into the coming week with Met Éireann issuing further high temperature warnings.
A warning is in place from 1:00p.m today (Sunday, July 12) until 7:00a.m tomorrow (Monday).
This warning is for counties: Clare; Cork; Galway; Kerry; Kilkenny; Laois; Limerick; Mayo; Offaly; and Tipperary.
From 1:00p.m on Monday, another Status Yellow high temperature warning will come into effect for counties Cork, Galway, Kerry, Limerick and Mayo.
This is in place until 7:00a.m on Wednesday.
Met Éireann has said that maximum temperatures in excess of 27° combined with overnight minimum temperatures in excess of 15° can be expected over the coming days.

Met Éireann said the prolonged very warm or hot spell will continue for the week ahead.
Temperatures will widely reach the mid to high 20°s by day, with warm and possibly tropical nights.
It will be largely dry and sunny but there is an increased chance of showers and thunderstorms developing later in the week.
In its farming commentary issued this weekend, Met Éireann said that drying conditions will be good or very good over the coming days due to settled and very warm conditions.
From Wednesday, there is the small chance of a few heavy showers or thunderstorms, which will bring poor drying conditions to some areas if they occur.
There will be good opportunities for spraying over the coming days with dry conditions and moderate winds.
However, it will be very warm so the window for spraying may be limited to the cooler hours of the morning and late evening.
All soils are trafficable at present with soil moisture deficits ranging from 7mm in the northwest to 70mm in the south-east.
There is restriction to growth in many parts of Leinster and Munster.
Soil moisture deficits will increase nationwide over the coming week, likely ranging from 15mm in the north-west to 76mm in the south-east.
Growth will become increasingly restricted across Leinster, Munster and the midlands.
Met Éireann added that a condition orange fire risk is in operation for the country until midday on Monday (July 13), with elevated fire risk expected in all areas, but will be especially focused in southern and eastern regions.
