€1.4 million was issued in payments under the Targeted Agriculture Modernisation Schemes (TAMS 3) last week, according to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM).
TAMS 3 provides grants to farmers to build and/or improve a specified range of farm buildings and equipment on their holding.
The latest payments data published by the department shows there 48,849 approvals have been issued to date, with 21,135 payment applications submitted and 18,418 total payments made.
TAMS 3 total payments now amount to over €168.4 million.
The data also shows that almost €120,000 was paid out last week for the 2025 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and Complimentary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS).
Over €845 million has now been paid to 118,838 farmers under these schemes.
This overall figure includes the 2025 Complementary Income Support for Young Farmers of €38.5 million and the 2025 National Reserve of €3.1 million.
The department also paid out €690,000 last week to participants in the 2025 Sheep Improvement Scheme.
A further €86,000 was issued for the 2025 Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC).
€280,000 was paid out to farmers in the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES), bringing the overall amount issued under the scheme to over €786 million.
