AgriOpinions, Agriland's farmer research initiative, is seeking the views of Irish farmers in a survey to see what you think about environmentally sustainable on-farm measures.
The survey is being conducted on behalf of Teagasc as part of the EMIT-CHANGE project, which is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM).
The survey covers farmers' experiences, attitudes and views on sustainability actions - including measures already taken and those being considered to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions on farm.
Participants will also be asked to provide basic information about themselves and their farm.
The findings of the research will be used to identify barriers to adoption of such measures at farm level, informing targeted policy responses and advisory support.
AgriOpinions survey winners are real Irish farmers. Recent winners include a beef farmer from Co. Cavan, a sheep farmer from Co. Galway and a tillage farmer from Co. Kildare, each receiving a One4All voucher for taking part.
Three winners will be drawn from respondents to this survey, each receiving a €150 One4All gift voucher.
Completing this questionnaire takes only a few minutes and all information will be treated confidentially.
