Field Sales Rep

Meath Farm Machinery is currently looking for an enthusiastic, driven and result focused Field Sales Rep to join the team.

The successful candidate will be a Meath Farm Machinery and John Deere brand ambassador. This role requires flexibility including travel abroad for factory trips, trade shows and product launches.

Based in Cavan, the job offers: an attractive base salary; excellent commission structure and earning potential; as well as a company vehicle, laptop and phone.

Parts Assistant

Meath Farm Machinery is also seeking a Parts Assistant, responsible for selling, receiving and delivery of parts and accessories in its Cavan depot.

Essential duties for this role include: promoting and selling parts and/or services to meet customer needs; assisting with the preparation and maintenance of merchandised display; and verifying receipt of incoming shipments, among others.

Desired skills and qualifications include: a competent knowledge of agricultural equipment and the farming industry; the ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions; and excellent customer relationship skills.

Teacher of Agriculture (Dairying)

Private agricultural education institution Mountbellew Agricultural College is now inviting applications for the  post of Teacher of Agriculture (Dairying).

The minimum qualification is a Level 8 or higher degree in a relevant agricultural discipline (minimum 2.1). This is a permanent position and is sub-vented by Teagasc.

The starting salary scale is Teacher Basic Grade €32,652 – €62,164. The successful applicant will start on the minimum of the pay-scale unless they have relevant similar public sector experience immediately prior to appointment.

Project Co-Ordinator

Agri-tech expert Lely Center Mullingar is looking to hire a Project Co-Ordinator to cover the midlands area.

This is a full-time permanent position, with time split 50% in the office and 50% in the field.

Excellent training will be provided by Lely which will be ongoing for the first 12 months. This position will ideally suit someone living in the Offaly / Westmeath area.

Service Engineers

Lely Center Mullingar is also seeking to bring in two more Service Engineers to cover the midlands area. This is a full-time permanent position and the firm is recruiting for the midlands area – Westmeath and Offaly.

Working as part of a service team of 12 people, and reporting to the Service Manager this role will be primarily field based, and chosen employees will responsible for installing, commissioning and servicing Lely products on dairy and beef farms.

Dairy Herd Manager

Finally, an exciting full-time permanent position for a Dairy Herd Manager has arisen on a 400-cow, spring-calving dairy herd unit in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
