There can’t be a farmer in the country who could not find a use for one of the all-new JCB 1CXT backhoe loaders on their farm.

By combining the key features of a skid steer loader and a mini digger, you effectively get two machines in one package.

The new machine gives you the option of running on tracks for reduced ground damage, better climbing, greater pushing power and, according to its manufacturer, unparalleled stability.

Coming in at just 2.26m tall and 1.4m wide, the new machine is likely to be ideal to get in and out of cramped spaces which can make many time consuming jobs very simple for farmers.

JCB had installed a powerful Tier 3 engine in the compact machine, together with the loading and digging capabilities to tackle the ‘toughest’ jobs.

JCB says an optional extending digger is available, which can dig to depths of 3.08m. It says this is 36% deeper than its nearest rival and reach up to 4m at ground level.

According to JCB the 1XCT comes with a 14% increase in bucket capacity and 30% increase in ground clearance compared to the 1CX

It also says stabilisers are now only required for the most arduous digging applications, due to the increased stability offered by the tracks.

The current price for a basic JCB 1CXT starts from €44,327 according to JCB.
