The driver of a 4X4 vehicle towing a trailer was arrested over the weekend after being stopped by members of An Garda Síochána on a motorway in the midlands, Gardaí have confirmed.

The incident occurred in Co. Laois on the M7, local Gardaí noted, when the driver was stopped for speeding.

Upon producing a “dummy licence”, Gardaí quickly established that the driver in question was in fact disqualified – promptly arresting the individual and seizing the vehicle.
