Lakeland Dairies has announced that applications are now open for its 2027 Graduate Programme.

The dairy processor also announced that the newest group of graduates has joined the programme.

Lakeland said its Graduate Programme provides the opportunity to "build rewarding careers" within the co-operative.

This year’s intake will begin a two-year programme of learning and career growth, the business said.

The new graduates join Lakeland from a range of disciplines, and will gain "hands-on experience" through a structured rotation across the business.

They will also be provided with professional development opportunities and on-the-job training, according to Lakeland.

The programme will feature mentoring and networking opportunities, and will allow the participants to build "connections with colleagues and senior leaders" across the business.

The Graduate Programme forms part of 'Proud Roots, Bright Futures', which Lakeland Dairies describes as its "commitment to developing the next generation of talent across its business and farming community".

Commenting on the programme, Lakeland CEO Colin Kelly said: "We are delighted to welcome our new graduates to Lakeland Dairies.

"Coming from a range of disciplines and backgrounds, they bring fresh ideas, energy and ambition to our business," Kelly added.

"We look forward to supporting them on their career journey as they develop their skills, gain valuable experience and realise their potential as part of Lakeland Dairies," he said.

Applications for the next intake of the Graduate Programme for 2027 are now open.
