Auction report: Tractor prices from today’s FTMTA Irish auction
The second Farm Tractor and Machinery Trade Association (FTMTA) auction (of used tractors and machinery) took place today (Saturday, February 24) at Punchestown Event Centre near Naas, Co. Kildare.
Close to a couple of hundred lots were up for grabs; these were consigned from FTMTA members (i.e. dealers and distributors dotted about the country) in the run-up to today’s event.
Some items were bought by punters at the event centre; there was a modest attendance at the venue today. Other lots were chased remotely – by online and phone bidders.

AgriLand was there – to bring you pictures and prices from the sale.
The sale was conducted by Wilsons Auctions on behalf of the FTMTA.
Here, in this article, we focus on the tractors up for grabs at the auction.
The terms of today’s auction were as follows:
All (hammer/sale) prices are subject to a ‘buyer’s premium’:
- Assets sold up to €2,000 – 15% (plus VAT) commission;
- Assets sold for over €2,000 – 10% (plus VAT) commission.
All prices are subject to VAT at 23%, unless otherwise stated (in the captions below).
All lots are ‘sold as seen’.
