The Golden Shears World Sheep Shearing Championships, continues today in Gorey, Co Wexford.
With over 30,000 spectators expected at this family-orientated festival over the four days, attractions on offer include the Good Food Ireland Village, arts & crafts tent, fashion and entertainment running in tandem with the main shearing competitions
Today’s events include sheep dog trials where competitors from across the water include entries from Holland, Austria and the South of France, Scotland and Wales as well as from the 4 corners of Ireland.
