Taaffe Auctions kicked off its spring dairy sales last week in Carnaross on Wednesday (January 19) and Dungannon on Thursday (January 20).
Taaffe auctions held its final sale of the year at Dungannon Mart, Co. Tyrone, and had 105 lots on offer.
The autumn dairy sales has seen the demand for high quality stock continue from the spring sales and even 2020 dairy sales.

Carnaross Mart, Co. Meath, held its dairy sale last Wednesday, with the sale containing 110 lots put forward on the day.

The Dechomet herd sale of the entire milking herd of 120 cows; 10 springing heifers; 35 served heifers; and a pedigree Holstein stock-bull.
Dungannon farmers' mart, Co. Tyrone, held its final dairy sale of the year, last Thursday (December 17), with 83 lots on offer.
At the November Dairy Sale in Dungannon the McClean family made £40,530 (€47,845) from the sale of a crop of freshly calved heifers.
