The National Ploughing Championships 2026 has entered its third and final day (Thursday, September 17).

168,000 people attended the event over the first two days with thousands more due in Screggan, Tullamore, Co. Offaly today.

Thursday's livestream opens with young voices: junior ploughing competitors and a next generation of farmers conversation featuring Macra president, Josephine O'Neill and Anne Marie Feighery of Feighery's Farm.

A Farm to Fork segment with Tom Cronin, director of Our Food Roots, explores the food chain, before an energy panel — Powering the Farm — brings in Gas Networks Ireland, the ESB and Seán Finan to talk challenges and opportunities.

Hour two of the livestream on Thursday goes national and political 'From Roscommon to Brussels' - a live conversation with TD Michael Fitzmaurice and MEP Ciaran Mullooly on the big issues of the day.

The political mood will then be offset by Declan's line dancing back on stage.

We will have a live family segment with Richard Walsh, voices from the Food Village, and a Farm Finance panel with Bank of Ireland and Teagasc's Klara McGriskin to close out the hour.

The final hour is the week's send-off: a machinery catch-up; a discussion on breaking down barriers for women; and an NPA roundup of 2026 with Anna Marie McHugh.

A first-of-its-kind school project in Ireland - a restored vintage Porsche tractor - is on display.

Ballymahon's Mercy Secondary School has joined up with Ronald McDonald House Charities Ireland to raffle off the fully-restored vintage tractor.

Farmers who visit the Agriland stand at this year’s Ploughing will also be in with a chance to win the use of a Landini Serie 7 for a year.

The lucky winner will have the free use of a Landini Serie 7 from mid-January to mid-December 2027 or for 750 recorded operating hours, whichever comes first.
