Keenans will be among a number of innovative companies to attend Teagasc’s Beef 2014 Open Day in Grange this Wednesday.

Andy Warnes, Sales and Marketing Director with Keenansystems said: “Our stand is focussed on our inTouch division activity which is our 24/7 Nutrition and Feed management Service being offered to individual Keenan equipped Farmers and via B2B channels, with larger groups such as Processors, to Farmers using other Machines.”

Warnes outlined that the inTouch system is based around their award winning Pace Connect technology and precision feeding regimes. He said: “We can enable beef farmers to improve the speed with which they finish their beef calves and also help targeted improvement of the quality of the final product.”

inTouch is a technology enabled service to ensure it’s easy for you to get more from feeds through precision feeding and nutrition. Through Cloud technology we link farms around the world directly to a new centre in Kilkenny City, Ireland and deliver improved sustainability and profitability for farmers, suppliers and processors.

Warnes stated: “inTouch offers staged rearing, growing and finishing regimes that will reduce the days required to produce healthy, high-quality calves. We also have extensive experience in influencing fat cover and content, by managing feeding, to enable the beef farmer to meet his end customer’s finest demands.

Beef 2014 will take place at Teagasc, Grange, Co. Meath on Wednesday, June 18. This is an industry-wide open day that will focus on all areas of beef farming in Ireland. It will be the biggest beef open day ever organised in Ireland and is not to be missed.
