Members of An Garda Síochána are investigating two separate incidents of theft of a 4X4 and a trailer from rural locations which occurred over the past two weeks.
In Co. Meath, Gardaí are seeking information in relation to the theft of a dark red Toyota Land Cruiser, which was taken from the Rathfeigh area of the county on Sunday, February 14.
In an appeal for information, local Gardaí said:
“Laytown Garda Station are investigating an unauthorized taking of a vehicle which occurred on the 14/02/2021 in the early hours between 04:00am and 05:00am from the Rathfeigh area.
It was a red/maroon Toyota Land Cruiser registration number: 06LS##8 long-wheel base.
If this vehicle is seen, anyone with relevant information is asked to contact Ashbourne Gardaí on: 01-8010600.
Meanwhile, a car transporter trailer was taken from a property in Co. Leitrim, according to Gardaí based in the O’Rourke County.
Providing images of the trailer in question on social media on Monday (February 15), local Gardaí said:
“This car transporter trailer was stolen from Dromahair, Leitrim in the last week.
“If any person seen this trailer, either being towed, or parked up, then please get in contact with Gardaí in Manorhamilton on: 071-9855014.
