Thousands of euros worth of farming equipment and tractors have been stolen from a secure yard in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.  In a statement this morning, Northern Ireland Police said two tractors and two quad bikes were taken from the premises on the Killyneedan Road area on Sunday night.

The vehicles which included two tractors were a Ford Newholland tractor TM140, registration number PHZ 8718 with a Redrock slurry pump attached, a Case International Red/Black, registration number MHZ7007, with damage to the lower bonnet and back mudguard, a Honda 500 quad and a Honda 350 quad.

Detectives would ask anyone who observed tractors being driven on the Killyneedan Road or Annaghquinn Road to contact them at Cookstown CID on 0044 845 600 8000.
