The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) has provided an update on the various scheme payments issued last week.
The latest data from DAFM shows there was over €2.26 million issued to farmers for the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Schemes (TAMS 3) this week.
TAMS, which is co-funded by the EU, provides grants to farmers to build and/or improve a specified range of farm buildings and equipment on their holdings.
Under TAMS 3, 52,233 approvals have been issued to date, with 22,832 payment applications submitted and 19,779 total payments made.
TAMS 3 total payments now amount to over €180 million.
Over €2 million issued this week to Fuel Income Support Scheme applicants.
Under the 2025 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and Complimentary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS), €83,254 was paid out to farmers this week.
Under the 2025 Eco Scheme, €144,484 was paid out this week.
€290,000 was paid to Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) participants.
Under the 2025 Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC) schemes, payments totalled €40,562.
Payments worth €77,627 in total were made to farmers in the Organic Farming Scheme.
€9,480 was paid out under the 2025 Protein Aid Scheme this week.
