A tractor recently ended up in a pensioner’s front garden after it crashed through a wall in Co. Donegal, according to the Inishowen News.

The incident reportedly took place at around 9:00am on Wednesday morning in Buncrana, just a few minutes after the usual early-morning traffic.

It is believed that the tractor and trailer combination – that collided with the elderly woman’s garden wall – belonged to a local construction firm.

The local publication explained that the tractor – a McCormick MTX150 – is thought to have lost power as it travelled down a steep hill. The 150hp machine was towing an NC dump trailer at the time of the accident.

Residents in the area told the local publication how they heard a loud bang when the tractor mounted the kerb and crashed through the wall, leading them to be very concerned for the elderly resident of the house.
