In a Brussels briefing on agriculture before the summer break, Agrafacts journal Rose O’Donovan and Ed Bray provide an overview of the recent CAP deal reached by the Council of Agriculture Ministers, the European Parliament and the European Commission. They look at the different parts of the agreement (direct payments, greening, coupled aid, young farmers, rural development, market measures, horizontal regulation and Single CMO andtransparency). They also provide an interesting first analysis of the compromise. The briefing can be viewed here. Image Shutterstock
