The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) has issued almost €2.4 million this week in various farm scheme payments.
The latest data published by the department shows that a further €1.85 million was paid out under Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Schemes (TAMS 3).
TAMS 3, which includes 11 sub-schemes, provides grants to farmers to build and/or improve a specified range of farm buildings and equipment on their holding.
50,131 approvals have been issued to date under TAMS 3, with 21,833 payment applications submitted.
A total of €174 million has now been paid under the scheme with just over 19,000 payments issued.
The data also shows an additional €130,000 was paid this week for the 2025 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and Complimentary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS).
This means that 118,870 farmers have now been paid a total of €845 million under these measures.
That figure includes the 2025 Complementary Income Support for Young Farmers of €38.3 million and the 2025 National Reserve of €3.1 million.
DAFM also paid €41,635 this week to farmers in the 2025 Eco Scheme bringing the total payments to €308 million to 119,172 farmers.
An additional €230,000 was paid to farmers in the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES).
€50,383 was issued through the 2025 Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC)
An additional €37,000 was paid for the Organic Farming Scheme (OFS), while €7,900 issued under the 2025 National Sheep Welfare Scheme.
