As the world of agricultural research evolves and develops, Agriland wants to ensure that the farming community stays up to date on all things beef.
We have teamed up with Teagasc to create a new Beef Knowledge Hub which provides farmers with information and insights from the BEEF2026 Open Day.
All of the information and research is presented in an accessible, easy-to-read format on the Agriland platform.
Readers can access all of the latest research and insights, filter by topic and view the full in-depth contributions by Teagasc researchers.
The knowledge hub, which is free to use, will be a permanent resource available through the Agriland website and app.
Beef farmers have had a tough year this year in terms of making a profit, with significant drops in beef prices over the past few months, compared to the same period last year.
The Agriland/Teagasc hub ensures that every beef farmer, whether full-time or part-time is up to date with the latest developments and teachings on best practice in the sector.
The hub covers a multitude of different enterprises such as:
The aim of the BEEF2026 Knowledge Hub is to continue the theme of this year's event at Grange which was to 'Drive Sustainable Performance'.
Editor of Agriland, Stella Meehan said: "Agriland has always been at the forefront of information gathering for our farming sectors and that is why we wanted to ensure that those in the beef sector have easy, free access to the best resources.
"The BEEF2026 Knowledge Hub will be a permanent fixture on Agriland, allowing farmers the opportunity to catch up on the latest insights and research at their own convenience.
"We are happy to become a strong independent partner with Teagasc to ensure that the beef farming sector in Ireland thrives and progresses and that farmers are fully informed on the best ways to drive sustainability and profitability."
