Kinisla has held its milk price for June supplies.
Kinisla, the dairy processor previously known as Kerry Dairy Ireland, said it will pay 38c/L (VAT inclusive) including quality and sustainability bonuses.
At EU standard constituents of 3.4% protein and 4.2% butterfat, this equates to 41.63c/L (VAT inclusive).
Based on Kinisla’s average milk solids for June, the milk price return inclusive of VAT, quality and sustainability bonuses is 41.01c/L.
Kinisla commented: "Commodity prices are currently broadly stable.
"Exceptionally high temperatures across Europe are providing some support to the market, with concerns over the potential impact on milk production helping to offset reports of elevated product stocks."
Lakeland Dairies was the first processor to announce its price for June milk.
A base price of 37.5c/L at constituents of 3.6% butterfat and 3.3% protein will be paid for June milk in the Republic of Ireland.
This is inclusive of the 0.5c/L Sustainability Incentive Payment.
This is unchanged from the price paid in May, Lakeland confirmed.
Lakeland also said it will pay a 'market support' payment of 0.6c/L on all milk supplied from January to June, adjusted for milk constituents.
Lakeland said this support reflects "ongoing commitment to suppliers during a period where unprecedented global milk volumes and continued market volatility placed pressure on farm gate returns".
