The Munster Angus Breeders concluded its 2026 calendar with the Autumn Select Sale at GVM Kilmallock Mart, Co. Limerick, on Saturday (October 31).
The sale saw an 87% clearance rate with 27 of the 31 lots selling.
The sale also witnessed an increased female average sale price of €3,850, up €425/head on the same sale of last year.
As well as this, the Munster Angus Breeders Club turnover surpassed €1 million, which the group described as "a landmark for a club set up by breeders, for breeders".

All cattle on offer in the sale were exhibitor-bred, genomic tested, and scanned in-calf or certified fit for breeding, and all bulls were fertility tested.
"These standards continue to build buyer trust in cattle presented Munster Angus Breeders Sales," the group said.
