The FBD National Dairy Show continues today (Saturday, October 10) at the Green Glens Arena in Millstreet, Co. Cork.
The second day of the show will see cattle classes for both Holstein and Jersey breeds in the showring.

This evening, Mark Logan, the National Dairy Show judge, will select his Supreme Champion.
Based in Islandmagee, Logan is farming Holstein heifers under the Clovervale prefix.
He spent 33 years managing Clandeboye Estate, situated outside Bangor in Co. Down, before retiring 18 months ago.
During his time in Clandeboye Estate, Logan developed the Clandeboye herds comprised of pedigree Holsteins and Jerseys.
In 2025, the Supreme Champion title was claimed by Hallow Octain Twizzle ET EX93, exhibited by Hallow Holsteins Ltd.
The show began yesterday with the national finals of the Irish Holstein Friesian Association (IHFA) Young Members' Association (YMA) Showmanship League.
The handlers qualified to compete at Millstreet by collecting points over a number of shows throughout the year.
The finals were judged by Izzy Jones, who hails from the UK, but has being farming in Co. Wexford for a number of years.
Following this was the FBD National Dairy Show Showmanship classes, which were judged by Scotland's Jane Steel.
In front of a large crowd, Steel tapped out John Barrett as the Champion Handler.
The title of reserve champion went to Josephine Kelleher, while Aoife Prunty picked up the honourable mention.
The junior Jersey classes also took place yestersay at the FBD National Dairy Show with Mark Logan judging.
Rathard Classic Khassidy exhibited by the Hynes family of Co. Cork was named Junior Jersey Champion.
Reserve champion went to another Hynes bred Jersey, with Rathard Ghost Kohana picking up the title.
Last evening saw Udder Logic's Automatic Dipping & Flushing System (ADF) selected as the overall winner of the 2026 FBD National Dairy Show Innovation Awards.
The awards recognise a new product or service, launched within the past 12 months, that has revolutionised some aspect of dairy farming.
The FBD National Dairy Show will be open to the public from 9:00a.m until 5.30p.m today.
The show includes Ireland's largest specialised dairy trade exhibition with around 130 stands covering all aspects of the sector.
