Aurivo Co-op’s brand Connacht Gold has announced that it is to sponsor Sligo Ladies Gaelic Football for the next three years.

The sponsorship will see the Connacht Gold brand appear across all senior and underage ladies’ jerseys from this month on.

In addition to title sponsorship of all Sligo LGFA squads, Connacht Gold will also hold naming rights to Sligo LGFA leagues and championship competitions.

Speaking at the formal event to launch the partnership and new kit at Aurivo’s HQ in Finisklin, Communications and Brand Manager, Lydia Rogers, said Aurivo is delighted to partner its Connacht Gold brand with the teams through a three-year programme of support.

“Sligo Ladies have performed particularly well in recent years and we are committed to helping them achieve even more and to reach their goals for 2016 and beyond.

“With headquarters for Aurivo’s global business based in Sligo, we have a strong commitment to the region and ethos of giving back to the community we are proud to be a part of.”

With sport being a major contributor to good health, combined with a healthy, balanced diet, we see this sponsorship as being an ideal fit for Connacht Gold.
