CNH partnering with Finnish compact wheel loader manufacturer
CNH is aiming to strengthen its compact wheel loader portfolio by partnering with Finnish manufacturer Norcar.
CNH Construction has announced a strategic industrial cooperation agreement with Oy Norcar Ab, a Finnish company that has been manufacturing compact loaders since 1998.
Norcar builds its machines on Finland's west coast, and exports them to dealerships across Europe and Israel. Each country has one Norcar dealer.
Through this partnership, Norcar products will be distributed through CNH's Case and New Holland Construction brands.
Reason for partnership
Norcar's compact and sub-compact wheel loaders will be integrated into CNH's product portfolios, reinforcing the existing roster in the under-4t operating weight segment.
Norcar's new models are scheduled for unveiling later this year and are set to arrive at European dealers in quarter one of 2027.
CNH has said that the models to be unveiled are designed for agility, ease of use and transportability.
The company believes that these upgrades will offer "practical solutions for navigating confined spaces with minimal ground disturbance compared to skid steer loaders or larger compact wheel loaders".
The president of CNH Construction, Humayun Chishti spoke about what this partnership brought to the group.
He said: "Norcar’s products integrate seamlessly into our brand portfolio, allowing us to meet customer needs in the smaller compact and sub-compact segments that our current line-up does not fully cover.
"Norcar was selected as the ideal partner thanks to its product range compatibility, quality, and strong potential for production capacity expansion.
"This partnership further strengthens the positioning of the CASE and New Holland Construction brands within an attractive market niche," Chishti said.
Norcar's CEO, Lotta Linden-Svarvar also spoke about what this partnership brings to the Finnish brand.
She said: "This partnership with CNH Construction elevates Norcar’s global visibility, confirms the quality of our products and opens the door to international recognition."
Linden-Svarvar added that this was all achieved "while preserving and strengthening the distinct identity of the Norcar brand".
