Volkswagen commercial vehicles Ireland was recognised globally as ‘Aftersales Global Importer of the Year’ at the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles awards in Hamburg, Germany.
The award, which was presented at a ceremony in Hamburg this month, is the highest aftersales honour within the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle brand that can be given to any of its importers.

Meanwhile, Volkswagen has extended its 0% APR finance rate for orders placed during July 2014. The offer extends to the Volkswagen Caddy, Transporter, Crafter and Amarok models. Commenting on this extended offer, Kim Kilduff, Head of Sales and Marketing for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles said: “Since announcing last month’s 0% finance offer across our full commercial range, our Dealers have been inundated with enquiries. We are delighted to be in a position to support Irish businesses by ensuring there is credit available through Volkswagen bank. Offering our support to businesses is an area we are very focused on, in fact, so far this year we have lent double the amount to Irish businesses than in 2013.”
