The countdown is well and truly on to Callan Macra’s 75th anniversary celebrations. The club will celebrate with a dinner dance.
The International Miss Macra Festival took place in Thurles over the weekend with Kilkenny woman Josephine O'Neill taking home the top prize.
IFA president, Joe Healy, expressed the hope that members of Callan Macra na Feirme club would move on in the future to be part of IFA.
Callan Macra na Feirme will celebrate its 70th anniversary in the Springhill Court Hotel, Kilkenny, on August 26.
