Grassland Agro is seeking highly motivated technical sales advisors – agronomists to join its growing team in the north Wexford; Longford/Roscommon; east Wicklow; and east Down/Northern Ireland region.

The ideal candidate has dairy farm experience, can milk cows, has some tractor experience and is looking to grow their dairy farming knowledge.
Farm manager
Boyne Valley Meats is recruiting for a manager of a 300ac beef farm in Meath. The position is suitable for a vet, agronomist, cattle nutritionist, or an interested cattle person.
Responsibilities of this position will include the finishing of heavy store cattle to beef on a grass system with grains, as well as attending to livestock.

Certification group manager – forestry
A part-time position is available with the Irish Forest Owners as certification group manager to manage a forest management group certification scheme.
Responsibilities of this position include ensuring compliance of members with group certification standards, and internal monitoring and communication with members.
Experience in forest management and certification is required for this position. Professional membership of the Society of Irish Foresters or another relevant professional body is desirable.
Part-time farm inspector
The Irish Organic Association is currently recruiting for a part-time farm inspector for the south-west region (Bantry/Kenmare). A full, clean driving licence is essential for this position.
Farm inspectors are expected to have a relevant educational background, preferably with inspection experience, and a keen interest in organic agriculture.
The successful candidate will be trained in all relevant aspects of the role in order to assist in administering the Irish Organic Farmers and Growers Association Inspection and Certification Programme.
Trainee farm inspectors
The Irish Organic Association is also recruiting for full-time trainee farm inspectors based in the Midlands/north-east region. Travel will be required as part of this position.
The inspector is expected to assist the certification manager with the association’s Inspection and Certification Programme within regulatory guidelines.
A minimum of a level-8 honours degree in agricultural science is required. Previous experience and knowledge of farming systems is essential and auditing experience desirable.
