Is farming worth it? We want to know your thoughts. Agriland in association with the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers' Association (ICMSA) has launched a survey to get to the heart of farmer opinion.

The survey, being undertaken independently by AgriOpinions research agency, aims to shed some light on the current mood of the farming community.

The survey will only take about 10 minutes to complete and also offers the chance to each person who fills it in, to enter a competition for one of three €250 One4All vouchers.

Survey about farming in Ireland

With increased competition from other agri-producers around the world, rising input costs, decreasing output prices and environmental legislation, farming has had to deal with a multitude of headwinds in the past couple of years.

In this short survey, we want to know how you have managed those headwinds, what you believe the future holds and where you think the challenges will be as we head into 2027 and edge closer to 2030.

All of the submissions to the survey will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

The information garnered as part of the survey will be used to amplify the voices of farmers on what the challenges and opportunities are for farming in Ireland today.

The survey will close at 7:00p.m next Tuesday, September 8 so be sure to get your answers in before then.
