Kepak Group has today (Thursday, November 14), announced the appointment of Brian Tormey as CEO of Kepak’s Meat Division Ireland.
Tormey from Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath will step into the role of CEO from his previous position as chief operating officer, which he has held since 2018, Kepak said.
He has been with the company since 2007 and has over 25 years’ experience working in the meat industry. Tormey also has held a number of other senior positions at Kepak including director of operations and head of project management.
Tormey’s knowledge of meat craftmanship began at a young age having grown up working in his family’s butcher shops in Westmeath, Offaly and Galway, Kepak said.
