Leaping Deere: This 2006 John Deere 6620SE (8,000 hours on the clock) with a 661 front loader sold for €24,500
Challenging weather didn’t unduly hamper the trade at Hennessy Auctioneers’ machinery sale last month (Saturday, October 21) at Portlaoise Mart; buyers and sellers came from as far away as west Cork, Connemara and even Donegal.
John Hennessy noted that there was a “great attendance” – with over 250 registered bidders.
An 85% clearance of 510 lots was achieved on the day.
Below is a sample of the results from the sale.
There is no VAT on these sale prices, unless otherwise stated.
All (hammer) prices are subject to a ‘buyer’s premium’ of 5%, up to a maximum fee of €500.
