What's needed for farm succession?
At the AGM of the Irish Natura & Hill Farmers' Association at the Clayton Hotel, Sligo on September 24, 2026, many farmers called for an early retirement scheme to ensure that farming remains a viable future career for the next generation, while at the same time, providing for the older retiring generation in a ever increasing cost of living environment.
