As part of the Green Acres Calf To Beef Programme with Teagasc, AgriLand is hosting a series of programmes presented by AgriLand beef specialist Michael Carey. In our first episode of ‘The Calf Show’ series, we discuss the factors to consider around calf housing this spring and also what farmers need to think of when it comes to the price they are paying for calves. The panellists for the first programme includes Doreen Corridan from Munster Bovine, Seán Cummins from Teagasc and Peter O’Hanrahan – a farmer in the Teagasc Green Acres programme.
