A man aged in his late teens was taken to hospital after a traffic accident involving a tractor and a slurry tanker earlier this week, according to Gardaí.

The incident occurred on Monday, February 15, in Co. Westmeath.

In a brief statement to AgriLand, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said:

Gardaí attended a single vehicle RTC [road traffic collision] involving a tractor and slurry tanker that occurred at Clonmore, Castledaly, at approximately 5:00pm, Monday, February 15, 2021.

“A male in his late teens was taken to Midlands Regional Hospital,” the Garda statement added.
