T-Stór, the Teagasc Open Access Repository, has been included in RIAN, the national open access portal that aims to make Irish research material more freely accessible.

RIAN aims to increase the research profiles of individual researchers and their institutions. It is a web-based portal of 13 Irish research institutions and it is set for inclusion in the EU’s OpenAIRE portal.

In welcoming the move, Teagasc director of research, Dr Frank O’Mara, said: “Participation in RIAN is a welcome development for Teagasc, which launched T-Stór only a year ago. Teagasc researchers collaborate extensively with our colleagues in Irish universities. Participation in RIAN is a welcome extension of this collaboration and builds on Teagasc place as leading organisation in the fields of agriculture and food research in Ireland.”

The portal is available here.
