On the Teagasc Beef Edge podcast, Kevin Hanrahan reveals that uncertainty will still remain for the beef sector until July of 2021.
The Irish beef industry is dependent on exports to stay afloat. This comes as only 10% of all cattle slaughtered in Ireland are consumed domestically; the remaining 90% are exported.
