The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day management of a grass-based spring calving dairy herd and will be supported by the owner who works nearby.
The farm is a dry grass-based compact spring milk production unit with a well laid out paddock infrastructure.
The position is ideally suited to a young person who has a QQI Level 6 qualification in Agricultural Science.

Two to three years commercial sales experience and/or the ability to sell high quality ruminant diets to trade accounts is essential.
The successful candidate will be based in the area and expected to provide technical sales support to livestock farmers who are customers of these trade accounts.

This is a senior management position in an established, well diversified and expanding Agri business and increasing.
The product portfolio includes an animal feed range, fertilisers and other farm inputs as required by their customers in the Republic and Northern Ireland.
The successful candidate is likely to have a good agricultural education, third level business degree or equivalent, excellent knowledge of IT, strong administration and HR skills.

Applicants should enjoy interaction with customers and have the proven ability to support on-farm input efficiency and continuous growth.
Responsibilities would include developing existing customer relationships, providing beneficial advice to increase customer’s profit, providing excellent customer care and after service and developing new business.
An applicant with a level 8 agricultural degree would be ideal.
