The countdown is officially underway to the 2024 National Ploughing Championships (NPC) which will take place from Tuesday, September 17 until Thursday, September 19 at Ratheniska, Co. Laois.
Agriland Media Group will bring you an exclusive livestream from the National Ploughing Championships each day which will feature live panel discussions with farmers, ministers, the leaders of key farming organisations, the Agri-Food regulator, senior industry experts and many more.
The livestream will be available on YouTube, Agriland website or app, and Facebook.
This year the Agriland team will also host a series of live podcasts which will focus on crucial issues for farm families from finance and discuss how the next generation of farmers can farm in the Ireland of tomorrow.

According to National Ploughing Association (NPA), managing director, Anna May McHugh, the championships not only provide “a national stage for showcasing all things agricultural, but also brings together people from all sectors of Irish society both rural and urban, to enjoy three days immersed in country living.
Figures compiled by the NPA show 200,550 people attended the 2023 National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska, Co. Laois.
