A farm clearance sale is scheduled to take place next week on Wednesday (April 21) – with a number of items set to go under the hammer, according to the auctioneers.

The event is being organised by a new trading entity on the Irish auction scene named Irish Agri Auctions, in conjunction with Mid Tipperary Co-operative Livestock Mart in Thurles.

Farm clearance sale

Set to kick off at 7:00pm on the day, a tractor, quad, Toyota Land Cruiser, skid steer loader and a host of trailers will be auctioned at the online clearance sale.

The sale will be conducted through online trading platform MartEye. According to the auctioneering group, viewings can be arranged ahead of the sale next week.

Prospective buyers and those interested are invited to get in touch with the auctioneers.

Irish Agri Auctions

Launched earlier this year, in something of a break to the norm, Irish Agri Auctions operates four yards around the country.

These yards are based in: Timolin, Co. Kildare; Cashel, Co. Tipperary; Culahill, Co. Laois; and Dunmanway, Co. Cork.

With all sales online for the foreseeable future, this company “brings the all-Ireland approach to machinery sales”, its members claim.

Irish Agri Auctions is the brainchild of four auctioneers: Rory Doyle; Eoin Lawlor; Jerry Horan; and Tristan Kingston – a mix of livestock and property traders.
