In her various roles, Kirkpatrick has served as chairperson of both audit and remuneration committees and held the position of senior independent director.
Helen currently sits on the board of NTR and a number of technology development companies.
With a background in corporate finance and business advisory services, Kirkpatrick has held a number of senior positions in global professional services firms, including Ernst & Young and Deloitte.
She was also a corporate finance executive with Invest Northern Ireland, the economic development agency for Northern Ireland.
She has been awarded an MBE for services to the community in Northern Ireland.
Commenting on the appointment, chairman of Origin Rose said:
“As part of our ongoing evaluation of board composition and to ensure Origin continues to maintain an appropriate range and balance of skills, diversity and experience at board level, we undertook a comprehensive recruitment process for this appointment.
“I am delighted to welcome Helen to the board and we look forward to her contribution through the next phase of the group’s growth and development.”
