Kerry Group has become the latest processor to reveal its milk price for January supplies.

Kerry Group is the third milk processor to announce its price for January milk, following on from Lakeland Dairies, which announced its price on Thursday (February 11) and Glanbia Ireland, which published its price on Friday.

In a short statement this afternoon (Monday, February 15), a spokesperson for the processor said:

Our Kerry Group base price for January milk supplies is 32c/L including VAT at 3.30% protein and 3.60% butterfat.

Meanwhile, in accordance with the new information being included in dairy processor milk prices – in line with EU rules – Kerry says that the January price is 35.178c/L including VAT at EU standard constituents of 3.40% protein and 4.20% butterfat.

The processor claimed that, based on Kerry’s average milk solids for January, the “milk price return inclusive of VAT and bonuses is 37.904c/L”.
