Keenan Systems is reporting huge interest in its machines at the moment particularly from the dairy sector with the abolition of quota just around the corner.

The level of interest has picked up in recent weeks ahead off two upcoming sales events in Dungannon Mart on the June 18 and Cillin Hill, The Hub Kilkenny on June 26, both events starting 10.00am – 6.00pm.

Speaking to Agriland today, Stephen Hennessy Keenan’s Irish Market Director said that the company is seeing interest from three specific groupings of dairy farmer -those that are expanding, new entrants and farmers coming together in partnerships.

Hennessy was keen to point out that with up to 40 machines available there is something to suit every budget from secondhand, Refurbished, Eco and some ex-demo machines. He said that finance through Keenan Credit was also an excellent option for some farmers. With subsidised finance rates and flexible repayment schedules available making the cost of a machine from as little as €45.00 per week

All refurbished are fitted with PACE Connect (Similar to New) and come with 1Yrs In Touch Support, both free of charge – Offer ends June 30. Hennessy commented that this was an excellent offer for farmers as they would be essentially getting the same service as if you bought a brand new Keenan wagon.

He stressed that: “Massive performance gains can be achieved in both dairy and beef by using the machine in conjunction with our In Touch support.”
