There is just over one week left to apply for the Bord Bia Marketing Fellowship and Origin Green Ambassador programmes.
The deadline for receipt of applications is March 17.
Both programmes are full scholarships with all fees and a bursary paid, and offer the opportunity to gain a Masters degree.
Bord Bia and UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School are searching for 30 talented professionals who can demonstrate the aptitude, ambition and drive to become future leaders in Ireland’s thriving food industry.
According to Bord Bia, successful applicants will work alongside “leading Irish and international food, drink and horticultural brands” in overseas markets while becoming “expert food industry professionals”, honing skills such as strategic business development, marketing and business sustainability.
Participants will enjoy “outstanding career development and regular recruiters from the programmes include: Kerry, Glanbia, Ornua, Teeling Whiskey, Keogh’s Crisps, Dairygold, among a host of other great Irish food and drink companies”.
The Bord Bia Marketing Fellowship and Origin Green Ambassador programmes are part of a suite of talent development programmes run in conjunction with UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, which also serve to “support the growth of the Irish food, drink and horticultural industry on a global scale”.
Marketing Fellowship Programme
The Bord Bia Marketing Fellowship programme (MSc International Marketing Practice) commences in June 2017 and is recruiting 20 individuals.
The 18-month action learning programme involves carrying out commercial assignments on behalf of Irish food, drink and horticultural companies in 12 key international markets.
Classroom-based taught modules and skills training and development take place in UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School throughout the year.
Origin Green Ambassador
The Bord Bia Origin Green Ambassador programme (MSc Business Sustainability) commences in September 2017 and is recruiting 10 individuals for key placements with organisations around the world.
The two-year programme is designed to allow participants to gain knowledge of the emerging issues in business sustainability and the skills necessary to integrate them so that a “genuine, realistic and practical sustainability agenda can be created within the organisation”.
