Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer during the latest season of 'Clarkson's Farm'.

During the last two episodes of the new season, Clarkson informed staff of Diddly Squat Farm about his diagnosis, which was deemed to be prostate cancer.

He hinted about the illness on social media several hours before the episodes were released today (Wednesday, June 17), telling his audience to prepare for "sombre news".

"Ordinarily, we try to keep the show bucolic, charming, and cheerful.

"But the final two episodes are none of those things really; they're a difficult watch," Clarkson said.

Diagnosis

Clarkson, who is 66-years-old, first broke the news to his co-workers Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland in the recent episodes, describing the cancer as "aggressive" but noting that it was caught early.

He told them: "I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy, and it is cancer, and it's aggressive, but it's really early."

The former Top Gear presenter noted that his diagnosis could leave him out of action "for a little while".

Treatment

In the season finale, Clarkson outlined that his diagnosis had killed 10% of his prostate, with the episode closing with him pictured in a hospital bed.

He said: "We've started season five with me in a hospital bed, and here we are at the end of season five and I'm back in a hospital bed.

"Some of the treatments gone a bit awry, let's say, so I'm going to be here for a little while.

"But if this is all successful, I'll see you in season six, and if it isn't, I won't; take care everyone," Clarkson stated before curtains closed on season five of the hit show.

Earlier on in the season, Clarkson had another health scare as audiences learned about a heart procedure he undertook in October 2024 due to blocked arteries.
