In general the weather will be mainly dry for the weekend and much of next week, according to Met Eireann’s latest forecast.

It says Saturday morning, any rain in the southeast will clear and for the rest it will be a generally dry day with a mix of cloud and sunshine.

Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees, but several degrees cooler in the northwest and north, with light to moderate north to northwest breezes.

According to Met Eireann Saturday night will be dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.

On Sunday, it says the weather will be mainly dry with sunny spells. However, there’s a risk of one or two light showers in the northeast.

Highest temperatures on Sunday will be between 13 to 18 degrees with light variable breezes. It will be coolest in the northwest.

Outlook

Met Eireann says Monday and Tuesday will both be dry with sunny spells.

Temperatures will range from 15 to 20 degrees on Monday, but will reach 22 degrees in places on Tuesday.

For Wednesday, it says current indications suggest that rain and drizzle will spread from the northwest and clear eastwards later, with cool, breezy conditions following. Rainfall amounts will be small.

Latest Met Eireann forecasts suggest Thursday and Friday look like being mostly dry, but cooler with highs of 13 to 16 degrees and moderate northwest or northerly breezes.
