Members of An Garda are investigating a fatal workplace incident that occurred at a grain store premises in Co. Wexford earlier today (Monday, March 15).
The incident occurred in the Caim area, near Enniscorthy this morning shortly before 10:00am.
In a brief statement on the matter, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed:
“Gardaí are investigating a fatal workplace incident that occurred at a grain store premises in the Caim area of Enniscorthy at approximately 9:50am on March 15, 2021.
A man, aged in his 40s, has been pronounced dead. The Health Safety Authority [HSA] have been notified.
“Investigations are ongoing,” the Garda spokesperson added.
