The head of Kepak’s Meat Division, Kevin Cahill is set to leave the Irish meat processor for a position with OSI Europe.
A spokesperson for the Kepak Group confirmed that the current CEO of Kepak’s Meat Division is leaving to head up OSI’s European operations.
Cahill first joined Kepak in 1992 and held a number of senior roles before taking up the CEO’s position.
The All-Ireland winner with Meath has been in charge of the meat division at Kepak since 2012, one of Ireland’s top meat-processing companies, which employees more than 2,000 people.
It is understood that Cahill will head up OSI’s operations in Europe.
OSI is one of the largest privately-held food processing companies in the world and its global network includes three zone offices and more than 60 facilities across the world.
The company is one of the main suppliers to McDonalds and according to the company it provides expertise in sales, marketing, engineering, research, production and finance.
The company states that it has the experience to develop and produce exactly the product its customers want, whether it’s breakfasts, lunches, entrées, side dishes, snacks or desserts.
