A €5,000 reward has been offered after two Honda quads were stolen from a farm in Co. Leitrim in recent days.

Damien Wrynne told Agriland that the Honda SM 420 and 520, both of which are manual transmission, were stored in a locked shed on his farm at Gorvagh, Mohill.

The beef farmer discovered that the vehicles were missing on Friday (July 3) when he saw that the lock on the shed had been broken.

He believes the quads, worth at least €15,000, were taken sometime between 10:30a.m and 7:00p.m on Friday.

The farmer has appealed to people to check local forestry and remote areas.

Damien said the loss of the quads, which are used every day on the farm, is very upsetting.

He has offered a €5,000 reward for the safe return of the vehicles or information in relation to their location.

In a statement, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed to Agriland: "Gardaí responded to a report of a burglary at a property in Mohill, Co. Leitrim, which took place sometime between 10:00am and 7:30pm on July 3, 2026.

"Two quad bikes were taken. Investigations are ongoing."
